My all time favorite store bought ice cream is Ben & Jerry's Chunky Monkey. Good thing the Banana, Chocolate Chunk and Walnut is a regular item on the menu here. That's exactly what I had earlier this week. DH is usually trying the various chocolate varieties, but I always stick to my tried & true. I love this stuff! Even better in a chocolate dipped cone.
Now a plug for this fantastic ice cream store... Royal Scoop in Bonita Springs. I love their motto, "Life's Short ... Eat Dessert First!" But, they do serve great food too. It's a business we like to support as they do a lot of positive projects for the community. And the ice cream is really awesome!

Jayne - So your downfall is "Chunky Monkey" !!! Looks delicious...but always wondered what it would be like to sample every flavor available!! Glad you have a spot in FL you can indulge yourself.

It sounds like a wonderful place and I love their motto! We visited our favorite ice cream shop after dinner with friends last night but I have to agree with your hubby on flavors - gimme chocolate :)

I've never tried this one, but it sounds great. It made me think of a sign a friend has above her hot tub.

Jayne, I'm glad you shared your favorite ice cream with us. You must really miss it in between visits:-) Speaking of signs, I liked the sign at Crabby Bill's in FL that said "Don't Worry...Be Crabby". Enjoy the rest of your time in FL.
Ben & Jerry come up with the most imaginative combinations. Did you know that they learned how to make ice cream at Penn State?

We have a Ben and Jerry's ice cream shop here locally. But long before it opened, Chunky Monkey was a staple in our house ... always had several pints of it in the freezer. It was our daughter's favorite after school snack.
A chocolate dipped cone sounds perfect.
How creative can two ice cream junkies be? I think we should nominate Ben and Jerry for the Nobel Peace Prize.
